Ideas for private events include bachelorette parties, birthdays, mom's night out, reunions, fundraisers, corporate parties, corporate team building events, wedding/baby showers, clubs, or just because you want an excuse to get together.
The sky is the limit when it comes to ideas for private events!
Q. How do I set up a private event?
A. Fill out the EVENT REGISTRATION FORM on this page with all the important info about your gathering. That will send an email to us, that will enable us to contact you to finish up the reservation of your event.
The deposit can be done along with sending the information, or you can wait until after we talk.
Q. What are the requirements for a private event?
A. A minimum of 10 people is required for a private studio event with a deposit of $105.
The deposit holds the date and secures the time slot for you and reserves 3 chosen guests seats.
When the ten people requirement is met for private events, the 16x20 canvases are discounted to $35 for each of your guests. If that requirement is not met, then the cost of the 16x20s will return to the regular price of $40. If this happens, the booking party will be responsible for making up the difference.
Q. How do I cancel or change a private event registration?
A. Notify us by phoning 319.269.6116 one week before the event to be eligible for a refund, credit, or change your class date. No deposit refund will be given if the cancellation is less than seven days before the event. To change the private event date, please know the current date of the event, the title or description of the painting, and the date you wish to acquire it.
Q. What do I need to provide if I host the event?
A. Optional items for you to provide your guests are treats, snacks, appetizers, and decorations if so desired. Please communicate this to the studio if you need separate tables for gifts and/or food so we can have them set up and ready for you. Also, please plan to arrive at least 15 mins early to set up if you have decorations.
Q. Can we bring alcohol?
Q. A guest that will be at our event is underage but we want to bring alcohol, can they still come?
