Kids private events.... I love this part!! :) You may select your painting from our Gallery or ask our event coordinator for a suggestion. Another option is to supply your own idea for a custom painting. Phone 319.269.6116 for more information.
Q. How do I set up a kid's party private event?
A. Please fill out the EVENT REGISTRATION FORM on this page with all the important info about your gathering. That will send an email to us, that will enable us to contact you to finish up the reservation of your event.
The deposit can be made along with sending the information, or you can wait until after you are contacted.
Q. What are the requirements for a kid's party private event?
A. A minimum of 8 people is required for a studio kid's party private event with a deposit of $75 due at time of booking. This deposit holds the date, secures the time slot, and registers 3 chosen guests for the event. With the 8 minimum met, you will receive the event pricing of $25 per guest.. If that requirement is not met, then the cost of the 11x14s return to the regular price of $30. This difference will be need to be taken care of before the event.
An adult must be present at all times during the event. Please ask parents who will be picking up their child to come to the studio fifteen minutes prior to the end of the event.
We ask please that all decorations and food will be removed from the studio at the end of the event and also that all waste is picked-up and placed in the waste containers provided throughout the studio.
Q. May Kid's Parties be held during Open Studio?
A. Kid's parties are not allowed during Open Studio. During open studio, no detailed instruction is given to attendees. This time is taught as if the kids are in a school classroom. You may bring kid's to paint during this time but no cake/cupcakes, birthday gifts or decorations are allowed.
Q. How do I cancel or change a kid's party private event registration?
A. Notify us by phoning 319.269.6116 7 days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund, credit, or to change your event date. No deposit refund will be given if the cancellation is less than seven days prior to the event.
Q. What do I need to provide if I host the event?
A. Optional items for you to provide your guests are treats, snacks, appetizers and decorations if so desired. A minimum of one adult chaperone must be present at all times.
Q. How many people can you manage if we hold a private event outside of your venue?
A. As long as we have the space, tables and seating, there is no limit to the amount of people at an event. Keep in mind the artist will need to be seen and heard to complete the painting.
